This Pinot Noir started its journey in three itty bitty, sunshine drenched vineyards on the Russian River Valley floor. Clones 115 and 828 basked in the morning glow before being picked at the perfect moment to keep all that fresh, lively character intact.
The grapes were gently de stemmed, then fermented in small batches where the flavors slowly woke up and stretched out. Every day they were tended like a garden, encouraged along until the wine was ready to be softly pressed and slipped into French oak barrels. A touch of new Latour oak joined the party to add depth, polish, and just a hint of drama.
Then came the patience. Months of resting, blending, and quiet aging before being bottled right as the next harvest began.
This wine was not rushed. It was raised with care, curiosity, and a whole lot of Russian River sunshine tucked into every bottle. 🍷
